Add to Cart not working on single product pages

Hello, I’m having problems with add to cart button. It doesn’t work on single product pages and to be more specific, it works for variable product, but not for simple product.

I switched off all the plugins except WooCommerce and the problem was still there. Then I tried to switch to default theme and then it worked fine, so there has to be conflict between Woopress and WooCommerce. The theme and plugins are up to date. Also, when I activate the child theme, it brakes the layout on single product pages.

This is also happening to us. Variable products can be added to the cart but Simple products cannot be added to the cart. The page refreshes but the product is not added. You can duplicate this here:

Our latest theme version you can find on ThemeForest https://themeforest.net/item/woopress-responsive-ecommerce-wordpress-theme/9751050. It is 3.0.0.1. Please update your 3.0.1 to the latest version.
Also update Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/page/2/

Hello Rose,

I’ve updated the Visual Composer and it didn’t make any difference. Simple products can’t be added to the cart. When I switch to the default WP theme, everything works fine.

Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process.

I have 3.0.1 and I can’t see there’s a newer version than this. The latest update is on May 6th and this is what I have. If there’s 3.0.0.1 version then where can I get it? Thank you.

Keep in mind that you should use your purchase code to activate theme after update. Also, skip Setup Wizard after theme update.

As far as i know the theme is up to date and so are the plugins.

Updating the theme actually solved the problem for me. Thank you, Rose!
Just download installable files from Envato and rewrite the woopress folder under “themes” via ftp. Don’t forget to back up your files and database.
