Adding logo to new header template breaks site

Hi
New to XStore so still finding my way around

I have imported a demo design – all well there

I then went to add a new header template which imported OK

However, when I add the site logo, the site no longer displays front-end – just gives a http error 500

Created header templates in other themes with no problem so I am hoping it is just something I have done/not doing that is giving the problem

Please advise

I have updated the wp-config file and everything is now showing again
