I’ve recently been asked to upgrade a website from IDStore v1.0 to v3.7 (including upgrading WP from 3.8.5 to 4.1.1 & upgrading WC from 2.0.13 to 2.3.7).
In the process the customised et-registration.php file is no longer working. I’ve pasted the code below & would be grateful if you could let me know what’s changed?
Many thanks…
Hello,
Do you mean registration page on your site isn’t working any more?
Please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials in private content.
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Hi Eva,
I’ve included FTP details in the private area.
For reference, I also have an old version of the site (on the old versions I mentioned in my original post), which is still working here: http://nailsint-old.aardvarky.com/registration/
Hello,
Please set permissions 777 for the folder “tmp” in the directory wp-content/plugins/really-simple-captcha and check registration page after that.
I couldn’t change permissions myself because I got an error: “Response: 550 CHMOD 777 tmp: Permission denied”. So change them yourself via your FTP account.

Eva Kemp.
Seems that Really Simple Captcha is already declared in the theme? I’m getting a fatal error due to it already being declared?
Do you mean to change the permissions of this folder instead? /wp-content/themes/idstore/code/inc/really-simple-captcha/tmp
Or, if I need to use the plugin (rather than the included theme script) how do/can I dequeue the script in functions.php of the child theme?
Incidentally, I was getting the same ‘permission denied’ message when trying to change CHMOD permissions; I’ve raised a support ticket with the hosting company.
Hello,
Captcha image is loading from the directory wp-content/plugins/really-simple-captcha/tmp/. So you need change permissions for that folder.
Thank you.

Eva Kemp.
Hi, I”ve fixed this now. Thanks. I didn’t realise that the new version of IDStore included the script, so have changed the page to load the script from there instead. 🙂
Hello,
We’re glad you managed to fix the issue.
You’re welcome.
