Adding products to front page with grid breaks page on ipad

Hello,

I am developing a site using the Woopress Handtools theme. When I view the site with products listed with a type=”grid” in either the new or featured products, the page will crash on an ipad. If I switch the products to be in type=”sliders”, the page functions normally. Any suggestions?
