Information on carousels on X-Store websites

Hi 8theme team,

Hope you are doing great!

In regards to the carousels we can add on X-Store:

1) Adding ticker style animations to carousels of various elements

Is there anyway of adding a “TICKER” style animation/movement to different elements/carousels.

By ticker we mean the animations which move slowly and show various elements on the screen (like on the marquee element)

For example;

a) The “EXPLORE YOUR PREMIUM BRANDS” brands carousel as seen on the bottom of this demo;

Or on things based on carousels such as

Products carousels, posts carousels, media carousels. team members etc.

2) Is there any code to have which we can make the starting and ending (elements/images) being shown as a faded transition?

3) Can we have the carousels show “VERTICALLY” versus the standard horizontal ones?

1/ We regret to inform you that our current offerings do not include an element for “TICKER” style animation/movement. Should you require this feature, we recommend exploring third-party plugins that may better suit your needs. Please be advised that the use of such plugins is at your discretion and responsibility.

2/ We would like to inform you that if your objective is to display the initial and final elements or images with a subtle fade effect, we recommend utilizing the Media Carousel element. This feature is specifically designed to create a seamless transition for your visual content.

3/ We regret to inform you that currently, we do not have a feature available to display carousels in a vertical orientation as opposed to the standard horizontal format.

However, we would like to suggest utilizing the Slider Revolution plugin, which can facilitate the creation of vertical carousels to meet your requirements.

Thanks for your reply on this thread.

1) Thank you – just wondering if there is perhaps any CSS code we can add to carousel elements (which are provided by X-Store) which can show them in the same animation type (slow tickers) as they are in the marquee element (also provided by X-Store)

Hello, @GTP,

1) Unfortunately, we do not currently support custom CSS for achieving the specific animated feature you desire. However, I would like to suggest an alternative solution that may meet your requirements.

Instead of using custom CSS, consider utilizing the Marquee feature in the following manner:

a) Place the Marquee on the designated page.
b) Navigate to the content section, specifically the General tab in the items section.
c) Add media elements, such as images, to the Marquee.
d) Set the desired animation type for the Marquee in the same section.
e) In the Advanced section under Layout, configure the position settings,

such as Fixed or Absolute. If you choose Absolute, you can easily drag the marquee anywhere on the page and adjust its placement.

2) We regret to inform you that we currently do not have a pre-existing custom CSS code or element available to display carousels in the specific manner you have described, where incoming and outgoing elements appear with a faded effect.
