Address and show product attributes in different places

Hello community, is it possible to show specific product attributes in different places as usual, addressing them specifically?
I make a bookstore website and would like to show on the single product page the author of a book above the book title. I inserted the author name in the attributes of the product but found no possibility to address them specifically.
