Adjust height of Search results dropdown in header

Hi,

I would like to increase the height of the search results dropdown (header) but could not find the right css class. Or maybe there a setting I overlooked?

Hello, @Martin,

In order to solve your issue Simply navigate to Dashboard > XStore > Theme Settings > Header Builder > Search > Results Dropdown Computed Box and Set padding as per your needs. See the image for a better reference here: https://ibb.co/HPj1dVg

Hi Tony,

I have closed the topic too quickly.

It basically worked, but now the result list can be scrolled farther than necessary, showing white space below the result list.

Is there a way to fix this?

Your issue is resolved now, please check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

I have set the Results Dropdown Computed Box padding to default settings. See the Resulting image under the private content area for a better reference.

Hello Tony,

thank you for helping, however nothing has changed. The result dropdown is still the same size as it always was. All caches cleared.
Changing the padding didn’t do anything, as restoring the defaults.

Please see the screenshot in the private content area. What I would like to achieve is simply an extension of the dropdown of about 100-150 px.

Hello, @Martin,

Sorry to say that I still don’t understand your issue clearly. I already told you about how you can set the padding/spacing in the dropdown results there is nothing else in the theme that I can tell you for the dropdown results list in which you can try to change its height or width. I hope you understand.

Hello Tony,

I am sorry, we seem to have misunderstood each other. Let’s try again:

In order to increase the height of the dropdown, you advised to use the padding in the Results Dropdown Computed Box, which basically worked – the dropdown box is larger now.

But it also led to a large margin below the search results (marked by the red X in the screenshot).

Is there a way to get rid of this white space?

Ok I have removed that padding from your site and added the Custom CSS code to increase the height of the search result dropdown and it is working fine now, please see the below-given screenshots:
