After log in, show simple " welcome message " or you are know logged in message

Hey,
When someone logs in with mini cart
The page just refreshes..

Can we have a simple message saying, you are now logged in, or thanks for signing in.. etc..

Similar to when you add an item to cart, there is a pop up on the bottom of the page that said item added..
