Not sure what happened, but after updating to the latest version, going into shop sometimes work sometimes shows error 500.
The site became extremely slow, had to hire someone to speed it as well. But still equally slow in mobile view (even after optimizing speed).
I have previously posted a topic here, but Rose asked me to check with my server hosts. After checking, it was due to the plugin/theme that I am having – not server issue as I am using semi dedicated server with almost zero visitors (this is a test site).
Could you please look into this?
Hello,
1) In the Shop sidebar widget area keep Show numbers of products option disabled for the Product Status filter widget because it uses a lot of server resources and if your server is not very fast it causes the issue.
2) Don’t set -1 to show all the products on the shop page because you have 2000+ products. It requires a lot of server resources to show them all on the shop page. Use pagination or infinite scroll https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/woocommerce-infinite-scroll-and-ajax-pagination-settings/
3) Optimize images that you use on your site Your home page is 7.3Mb – it’s huge, 5.2 of them are images https://prnt.sc/1tydptk
For example, you use 2048x2048px banner New-category-banner-03-scaled.jpg for the block with size 360x360px. Why? Change the image size to 360×360 and don’t use larger images for the banners than block size is.
Besides, if you optimize images you can save a lot, for example from 4.1Mb you can make 42Kb https://prnt.sc/1tyf140
Larger page size – slower loading.
4) Disable all the third-party plugins that you don’t really need because every additional plugin calls the CSS and JS. And your home page loads 1.2Mb of scripts.
Regards
Thank you so much for the help. The shop is loading fast now, even the homepage as well.
Could you also help me check this, this page is edited using wp bakery, but now it’s showing a string of codes.
Also, product filter for below options doesn’t seem to work.. please help
– product status
– price
Hello,
1) Page loads faster because I have optimized just a few images for the test. But not all of them! So, optimize all the images you use on your site.
2) We don’t recommend you to mix page builders on the site because it slows down the site. So, if you chose the Elementor as the main page builder then recreate the mentioned page using Elementor instead of the WPBakery.
3) I don’t see problem with the price filter or out of stock filter. Could you, please, provide us with video of the issue for better understanding?
Regards

Hello,
1) Thank you again for this
2) I have a page which is built using WP bakery map – Our Outlets (Map) – so I can’t recreate it using Elementor…
3) When I click on below filter options:
– product status – on sale – it loads all the items (including those not on sale)
– when i adjust the price filter – nothing happens..
I did try using 8theme filter for price – but it’s just empty with a title.
Also,
4) I am not sure why – but the PDF Invoice link is not showing for other user roles, only showing for super admin.
Please help. Thank you.
Hello,
2) Elementor also has the Maps elements.
3) Provide us with correct WP Dashboard access to your site and we’ll check the issue in more detail.
4) Are you talking about a link to download the invoice in the backend(in order details)? Yes, it’s for the admin. Also, your customer is able to find the invoice in his order.
Regards
Hi!
3) please refer to below private content. I have temporary set all the products into out of stock, please enable a few if you need to test the filter. Also, I think someone from here disabled the ajax pagination plugin (included in xstore) – so I just left it as it is for now.
4) Ohh, noted.
Thank you again!
Hello,
3) I checked your products and see that you set sale price and regular price is lower than sale price https://prnt.sc/1ur4gn0 It causes issue with the Stock status filter. So, edit your products and remove the wrong sale price.
I checked the price filter option and don’t see the problem with that.
Go to Plugins > enable WooCommerce Infinite Scroll and Ajax Pagination plugin if you want to enable Infinite scroll. We have disabled that for testing purposes.
