Hello,
after upgrade to latest version (8.3.7) statick block from footer disappeared. Just get the message: “Please create at least one static block via Dashboard -> Static Blocks”
Before uprade everythings look nice, and fine.
Please help me its prod site, it must start working ASAP
I’d like just to add. Statick bloc stop working only on footer. i have for example newsletter in static block and its work fine.
Hello,
Please check your settings in Appearance > Widgets. Also, make sure translation for blocks is created.
If this doesn’t help, provide FTP access, so we can take a closer look.
If you do not know how to create FTP contact with your hosting provider, they will help you.
Regards
It’s look like its not isuess with translation. I updated translation and still don’t work. Attach credentials
Any ideas what can be wrong? I need to public site soon…
I see you don’t want to help me ASAP so i created temporary HTML block with ‘plane text’ code of footer and hide your static block via 3rd plugin. Please, share also oldest version of your theme – if you aren’t fix your bugs fast. – i need to downgrade your theme.
How did you hide static blocks? How can we show them now?
Regards
Your problem was passed to our dev team. I will let you know once get an answer.

If your site is live, you can create a staging site (full copy of the existing one), to be able to do updates there first, without affecting your business.

Hello,
There is no such problem on our test sites and we did not get reports from other customers.
Fixed. Please check now on your site, and enable all static blocks by yourself https://prnt.sc/Z5r8X6zYHUNw
It is a temporary fix, our developer will continue work on this question, so do not change access.
Please answer next questions:
1) did you “optimize” the database?
2) do you have a database query cache?
3) did you unlock any requests on the frontend?
Regards
Thank you for temporary fix. Can you tell me what a problem is?
After a problem occurs i disable all cache plugins and clear CDN cache.
Before update your themes everything work fine.
About database the only think what I do was extended cloud DB to 1 GB of RAM then i restart Cloud server. Restarting and extending RAM was on coming soon mode.
A query that takes the number of created blocks in the admin returns the correct data, but on the frontend – no, so there is a guess about the database cache, or some manipulations with it or with requests from the frontend.
We are working on changing the functionality for the static block widget to improve it. We hope to include this in the next theme update.
Regards
Please, fix it asap 🙂
Let us know when update will be available.
BTW Do you have tutorials to create staging site? I’d like to learn it 🙂
XStore Changelog you can find at the bottom on this page https://themeforest.net/item/xstore-responsive-woocommerce-theme/15780546#item-description__item_changelog Also, our customers get an email notification about updates.
Creating a staging site is independent of the theme, so there is no our tutorial, but you can find guides online, or ask for assistance from your hosting provider side.
