Good day support, on both my ecommerce websites, I have set free gift rules during check out:
If customer purchase frozen items :
    >$50 small cooler bag
    >$100 medium size cooler bag
    >$150 large size cooler bag
will be added to cart as a free gift.

The issues is, if customer change the item quantity at cart page, when the cart amount happened to be the threshold amount for eg: $99 to $104, or $148 to $153 which the free gift suppose to be upgraded from small cooler bag to medium cooler bag or medium to large cooler bag, the function is not working, unless I refresh the page.

Both my websites behave differently when it face this issue.
The first website, it will show an empty cart page, which customer will understand that it need a refresh.
The second website, the existing free cooler bag will disappear, even I change the quantity of the cart, no free gift will be added, unless I refresh the page, or add a few more items to the cart.

May I know is there a way to solve this issue? Thanks!

    Hello,

    1) I checked your site and don’t see issue with the blank cart once I change the q-ty to 7 https://gyazo.com/f14c071572a4c21782c6fcce288f1482 Have you sorted out?

    2) I don’t see any free product rule in the plugin settings https://gyazo.com/370b863e3a92d666c5bbabfa3cc1f093
So, please, create the rule and reply back if you have an issue with this. We’ll check to help you.

    Regards

    Hi.
    1) Please key in postcode 100 to do the testing, otherwise the shipping rule doesn’t apply.

    2) Free product rule setting is in
Woocommerce > Setting > Shipping > Fish and Ships Pro shipping method.
I temporarily turn it off because customers complained that they couldn’t even place an order. there are cart error.
At the time you want to do the testing, you may turn off first & second shipping method, turn on the third Fish and Ships shipping method to do the testing.
Not sure why customer couldn’t even place an order if the shipping method is on.

For both website I am using same setting.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

    1) Should I fill in any other info https://gyazo.com/5ef31b6ad96db7ecffb4fa33c3cb0ff8 ? I added 100 and still nothing.

    2) Do you use third-party plugin for this (Fish and Ships Pro plugin?) Contact plugin author if you have issue with its options. We are not developers of that plugin.

    Regards

    1) Yes, you can simply choose any state, as long as the postcode is 100, and click update button. Should shown as my screenshot. Not sure why it will turn into a blank page.

    Hello,

Still can’t get the blank page https://gyazo.com/876315599208141b7bb429421984d5dd
Could you, please, enable WP debug https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG and then make a video of the issue to check your actions?

    Regards
