I am having issues with our site on mobile devices, on my android when I click on any link it directs me back to the homepage, on my Ipad I can get on to a product page but then it redirects onto the homepage.
Is there a way to force AMP? or resolve the issue above?
See private content to credentials if needed. Thanks.
Hello,
We’ve checked your site on mobile devices (android) and do not see the problem.
Could you, please record a video?
Clear cache on mobile browser on your device and check one more time then.
AMP can be disabled via Plugins > disable XStore AMP plugin.
Regards
Please see private content.
Hello,
In URL (in your video) we can see no-AMP. Read more – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/amp-plugin/general-info-amp/
Please check our video from your site (APM version) in the Private Content area, links work fine.
Where exactly do you click? Is it “See details” button of the slider? If so, doe it works fine on a desktop? Try to increase the height of the slider.
Regards
For some reason on my android phone it is only opening the non-amp, is there a way to force AMP on mobile?
Edit URL and remove /?no-amp
Or try: go to XStore > AMP XStore > Footer > Link to non AMP version: > On > Save, then from mobile scroll to the bottom of page, there should be a button AMP version disable/enable > click on it, then disable the button in the Footer.
Regards
When I enter the URL I don’t include /?no-amp, it’s like it is redirecting by itself. I also enabled the AMP version enable/disable button on the footer and even when I click this it goes back to the /?no-amp version.
Could you also check how it works from another device?
What browser do you use? Have you tried to clear its cache?
Regards
I’ve tried on an iPhone and AMP works.
On my Android & iPad I’m using Brave but it keeps redirecting to /?no-amp. It’s very strange.
On the iPad when I use Safari, it just resizes but not in AMP.
We cannot reproduce the issue from our side but you may check how it works from other browsers and without Cache plugins enabled.
Regards
About Brave browser, please read the next articles – https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/8611298579981-What-is-Brave-s-De-AMP-feature- https://brave.com/privacy-updates/18-de-amp/ – “Users who wish to continue visiting AMP versions of pages can continue to do so by going to brave://settings/shields and disabling De-AMP.”
