A product categories menu section has appeared above the filters on all the category pages on mobile. All the filters – (Price & Colour) should show on these pages, but the extra PRODUCT CATEGORIES should not be there. How do I remove this please.
Also, there is an update for Elementor to V 3.5.1. I did this update and there were a lot of errors on the site including:
1. Scrolling main image on homepage doesn’t load
2. Hamburger menu on mobile – Categories drop down menu doesn’t work.
3. Product images not displaying on mobile, only the main product image and the left/right arrows do not allow you to scroll the images. Then there is a big space under the main image where the other image thumbnails should be.
I have had to use a backup of the website to remove these errors, but I will still need to update Elementor soon. Is there a fix for this update?
Thanks, Ashley
Hello,
Could you, please, provide us with WP Dashboard access to your site to check the settings that you use for the shop page in more detail and help you?
Also, we’ll check the Elementor issues.

Please see details attached.
Hello,
1/ Could you, please, provide a screenshot for a better understanding of the problem? Describe the desired result in more detail.
If you are talking about sidebar content on Category page, it inherits the content of Appearance > Widgets > Shop sidebar area.
2/ Elementor > Settings > Experiments > Improved Asset Loading > Inactive

This is the screenshot from mobile in ‘Suspender Belts’ category. The little filter icon does not appear on the page, but all the filters are showing below ‘product categories’ and above the footer sections. This should not display at the bottom of the category page.

It is the same on all the category pages except ‘Stockings’, ‘Girdles’, ‘Panties’ and ‘Other Lingerie’. On these 4 categories, the filter Icon displays correctly and does not show at the bottom of the category pages.
How can I make the filter icon show on all category pages as it should do?
Elementor
So if I try again to update Elementor, do you mean I go to Settings > Experiments > Improved Asset Loading > Inactive and change it to ‘active’ ? I am not sure what I should do here to avoid the errors i had last time I tried to update it.
Thanks, Ashley
Hello,
I’ve checked Suspender Belts’ category page and the filter icon works fine. Please clear all cache and check one more time.
You need to set “Inactive” in settings of the Elementor for Improved Asset Loading option.

Hi,
I have cleared the cache on the website and on two separate mobile phones, now I do not see the mobile filter icon on any of the category pages. Can you please check this to see if something is not enabled as I cannot see where the problem is. thanks, Ashley
Hello,
Keep Cache Mobile option enabled in cache plugin settings https://prnt.sc/25z5jev
Check the filter button on mobile now, please.

Hi,
Thank you, all is good now. Ashley
