Hello,
I would like to know where should I insert the analytics code. In the royal theme is very clear, but in the classico I couldn’t find the document in the editor to insert it.
Best regards.
Hello,
You need to edit the file wp-content/themes/classico/header.php and add the code right after the <body>
tag.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Hi Jack,
I’m also struggling to find the appropriate place for the analytics code. The Classico theme header does not contain a <body> tag ? wherever i seem to place it either before or after the existing header.php code it seems to take the site off line ?
Thanks
I think the place Jack meant was wp-content/themes/classico/framework/templates/header.php.
I assume that’s the place where the header is being loaded and called from at the function in header.php at the root of theme folder.
Now that I’m here Jack, is there any way to override those templates from the child theme? I wouldn’t want to go over it again every time you guys make an update to the theme.. speaking of which, when is the update coming out?
Hello @nathanphilpott,
The user @Catinho is right, you need edit the file wp-content/themes/classico/framework/templates/header.php.
@Catinho, you need create child theme and create the same folder structure framework/templates and place the file header.php there.
Our developers are working on the update. It should be released within several days.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
