The options Appearance > Widgets which takes you to the widgets options is not showing. When you do App . Widgets – it goes to a blank screen

As I can see, you updated the WordPress, so you need to update the theme and Core plugin now – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/ https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/plugins-update/
Then go to Theme Options > General > Enable Old Widgets Panel.

If it still doesn’t work after plugin AND theme update, clear cache and see if it solved.
I had the same issue, and cache clear, changed browser to Chrome and it solved.

Thanks for your tip.
Used Firefox as well as chrome.
Same problem on both.
Site crashed, no widgets, no loading, no admin access.
I had to revert to a backup from 3 days earlier; now I’m hesitant in trying to do it again; hence messaging 8Theme Support.
Need the widgets though so don’t know what to do atm.

You used out of date version of theme and core plugin that was not compatible with WP 5.8. Besides one of the third-party plugins caused the issue with the widgets but we can’t check which one because your hosting blocks our IP and we can’t access your site to test and to your FTP https://prnt.sc/1g9ldtb
Please, disable the firewall to allow us to find the reason of the issue.
