Apply the same Variation gallery for the same color

Dear Support Team,

We have 20K items with around 10 to 30 variation size and colors,

for example a product with 10 different colors and 10 different sizes, I have to add the same color gallery for all different size, is there a way we can automatically apply the variable gallery to the same color for different sizes ??

Another Question, from the front end a user must select color and size in order to change the gallery image, can we have the option only by selecting color to change the gallery ??

Hello,

Create variations with color and Any size https://prnt.sc/17ja0hk then you can upload images just for the necessary color and there is no need to upload it for every size you have.

WooCommerce changes variation image only if you chose all the attributes you have, we don’t have option to change this.

The way you suggested to have color with Any size then we will not have option to manage the stock and SKU for each Size.

As for WooCommerce changes variation image only if you chose all the attributes you have can this be implemented by adding new function codes ?

Hello,

1) I see. Unfortunately, we don’t have the option to copy gallery images for all the other vsariations.

2) Maybe it’s possible by additional customization but we don’t have ready-to-use code to offer you. You may submit a feature request here https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/ and if it takes votes from other customers then our developers will be able to try to implement this. Or submit an additional customization request here if you want personal customization.

I would like to know if your theme is compatible with Variation Swatches for WooCommerce plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-variation-swatches

The same company they have a solution to copy an past images gallery:

is it compatible with your theme ?

if i installed Variation Swatches for WooCommerce and setup will it affect the website speed ?

Hello,

We did not test our theme with these plugins, so don’t have information about compatibility issues.
I don’t think that you may have compatibility issues with that swatches plugin but if you decide to use that then disable our swatches option in Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop Elements > Variation swatches.

Any additional plugin that works with the frontend would slow down your site a little because it calls additional styles and scripts.

Do you have this option build in inside your theme Cross / Blur / Hide Out of Stock Product

You can go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory > hide out of stock products from catalog. Then you’ll get blurred out of stock variation. But it works only if you have not too many variations (up to 10-12). In another case, you will get a simple Out of stock notice.

Unfortunately, I don’t have information on how soon our developers will implement this option.
