Assistance Request – Performance Issues with XTheme

Dear XTheme Support Team,

We recently switched to XTheme after reading excellent reviews about its performance and flexibility. For years, we have been using Woodmart, which has always provided us with outstanding speed and efficiency. However, after migrating to XTheme, we have noticed a significant decrease in performance.

We have maintained the same hosting environment, plugins, and configurations to ensure a fair comparison, yet the website now feels considerably slower. Given your expertise, we would greatly appreciate any insights or recommendations on how to optimize the theme and restore the expected performance levels.

Could you kindly assist us in troubleshooting this issue? Your guidance would be invaluable, and we would love to fully experience the potential of XTheme.

Hello @Officina 2.0,

We have noticed that your website is utilizing a large number of plugins. This could potentially impact the website’s performance, lead to errors, and affect its overall speed. To ensure optimal functionality and avoid such issues, we kindly ask you to manually review each plugin currently in use on your website.

If the problem persists, we suggest switching to the Parent theme if you are currently using the Child Theme on your site. After clearing the cache, check again.
Do the same test for the default WooCommerce theme – Storefront. The issue may be due to your custom code in the Child Theme.

We always working on optimization of our theme code but if you are interested in optimization your web-site we can suggest you next package for web-site optimizations available on -> https://www.8theme.com/account/ page in sidebar. Each web-site is unique and requires specific optimizations for best results.

In fact, by switching off the child theme it goes much faster, but I lose the customizations made (colors, translations) and then I have the problem again that the photo produced in different does not load.

If I take the optimization package will I get the speed result without the child theme while maintaining our customizations?
