Hi,

I went to Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product images. Choosed the proportion of 1:1 crop size and save settings.

After that I went to Tools > Regenerate thumbnails (used the installet plugin).

The images are stil not croped.

Can you help me automate the croping?

Please read this article – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/woocommerce/product-images/ It is recommended to use a graphics editor and prepare product images (make them the same size) before uploading images to your media gallery.

Hi,

I read the article and changed the thumbnails settings from WooCommerce> Settings> Products> Display> Product Images, but it is not working either.

The website already has more than 500 images, and it will allow users to add their own images in the future, so they will add all kind of sizes.

I need a way to automate this process for thumbnails, can you help me do that?

Hello,

I see that images are cropped. But if your original product image is 270×100 and you set thumbnails width 300×300 it’s logical that the image is not cropped because it’s smaller than the size you set. So, upload product featured image no less than 300×300 and you won’t have problem with the cropping.
