Regarding the DOM as you can see https://postimg.cc/sGQXnb0B it is showing on the h2 SVG path code. It say’s a large DOM. When we use an SVG icon it has the complete HTML path code of the complete icon here are a few examples: https://postimg.cc/m1Yx2wPX, and https://postimg.cc/jDpS582K so the speed testing tool gets this as a larger DOM but it’s not an error/issue no need to worry about it.
