    Hello,

Thank you for sharing the access details and the video.

Based on our observations, the behavior you are experiencing is not related to the theme but rather to the settings you have configured for the content using the WPBakery plugin. This means that you are likely to encounter the same result with other themes as well.

As a possible solution, you may consider adjusting the settings to prevent unnecessary spacing on certain devices – https://prnt.sc/VW8DK2pKPsx7

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Hi
I am a little confused, as the empty space is not hidden on mobile and it shows fine? Why only an issue on landscape tablet?

    Hello,

Could you please confirm if our modifications have helped resolve the issue?

There are several elements that create empty spaces https://prnt.sc/dJUe6IG1SytC https://prnt.sc/Jd5Q9mXgX2fy in the mentioned row. We have hidden only one of them, as shown in the screenshots above.

    Hi
Your changes have not made any difference – assuming you made them to the image at the top of the home page? I can’t see any 150px padding on that one? My client did all of the design, at his insistence, against my advice, and I have had to fix a number of things for him, but he insisted on long, complex pages and, after launch is now annoyed as his staff are making fun of the site! How can we fix this issue? I am going to have to go through and hide many elements on mobile, and maybe tablet if this is not solvable!

    Dear @feeldesign,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The questions you have regarding content customization for your customer are not related to our theme, as they do not pertain to any bugs or issues within the theme itself. In this case, you may need to adjust the content by modifying the padding and margin values with responsive settings. This can be done if the “Responsive WPBakery” module is activated under “Theme Options → Speed Optimization”.

If you would like us to suggest specific adjustments, please provide more details regarding the exact elements you wish to reduce on your pages, as shown in your screenshots or videos. Your clarification will help us assist you more effectively.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Hi
I can’t see anything under theme options for speed optimisation https://capture.dropbox.com/fEty5P5kkPh8KGeA

I know my client put ridiculous amounts of padding on, across all devices at the start as he was only looking on a huge Mac monitor and I had to undo a lot of that!!

    Hi Jack,
That is already turned on. There is clearly an issue as fine on all other devices apart from tablet landscape, and I use background iages with an empty space on almost all sites, and no issues. What is the issue here!?

    Dear @feeldesign,

We previously requested a screenshot and other details to better understand your concern (https://www.8theme.com/topic/background-images-not-resizing-on-tablet-landscape-mode/#post-434352); however, we have not received a response. Without this information, it is difficult for us to determine the specific areas where you would like to reduce the spacing.

Additionally, if you are not experiencing this issue on other websites, it is possible that different units for spacing elements or a different builder, such as Elementor, are being used. We kindly suggest checking this on your end first.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Hi
I sent a video, showing the issue where the background image does not resize on ipad landscape – see link again https://share.icloud.com/photos/004dssybGXlb5mIdXJOssww5w and please have a look at solving this, it MUST be a CSS issue in the theme to be one format that does not work!!

    Dear @feeldesign,

We appreciate your inquiry. The issue you are experiencing with landscape/portrait layout rotations may be caused by the following activated options:

    1. “Stretch Row Option” – This setting may not correctly adjust the row width. Please note that this option is related to the WPBakery plugin and not to our theme.
    2. “Fixed Background Option” – In some browsers, this option may not initialize correctly.

We recommend reviewing these settings and temporarily deactivating them for testing purposes. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Best regards,
