Big problem with back end speed (and frontend too)

Hi,

I have a very bog problem with the speed of my website. The backend works very slowly and elementor spend so much time when updating content of a page

I have only installed the plugin of the theme.

The mega menu (static blocks) doesn’t work well, when you click on an item, it spend a lot of time to open the page.
Please could you have a look into the backend?

Hi,
After talking to my server and checking the technical configuration, everything is fine. It seems that the problem is in a plugin inside the core, the sales booster, which interferes with something. My backend is running extra slow and causing me problems.
I am going to update the core but I would like to know if I have to update the template first and then the core, or first the core and then the template.

You can deactivate the Elementor and test the site speed then.

Hi, I have talked with my hosting and they said me that the parameters are good…

I am very worried because the site is not working properly. The mega menu (static blocks) only looks good on the main page. Do I have something wrong configured? The same happens with the footer. Or is it because of memory problems?

Hello, @Marta,

1/ Please do not show all products (-1) on the Shop page at once (Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop page layout), it seems your server can’t handle this request for more than 1 thousand products.

2/ In order to solve your issue with the menu and Footer, please navigate to XStore > Theme Options > Speed Optimization and set Menu Cache, Static Blocks Cache, and Remove Query Strings From Theme Static Resources to Off.
Additionally, go to Elementor > Tools and click on Regenerate CSS & Data.

I have changed the domain, what do I have to do with the license? My website run very bad, could it be due to the change of domain?

Hello, @Marta,

We recommend that you do not show all products (-1) on the Shop page at once (Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop page layout), as it seems your server cannot handle this request for more than 1 thousand products. However, the option was still enabled https://prnt.sc/Cv-VOw_PrnpD . We have set it to 16 https://prnt.sc/Sp9O1Z_cVedz and enabled the option Customizer -> WooCommerce (Shop) -> Shop -> Shop Page Layout -> Pagination Type to the value Infinite scroll. This has significantly reduced the load on the shop page.

We also recommend that you check the speed without any third-party plugins. The PHP version cannot be the cause of this problem. A change of domain can cause a similar problem, please ask your hosting provider if there are any requests from your new domain to the old one.

Hi, thanks.

Do I have to do anything regarding the template after migrating the domain (e.g. re-activate the licence)?

On the other hand, yesterday I sent a new query to support because there are a lot of errors in the php-error.log file, but the queries have not been logged. Can I somehow send you the file so you can see the errors, because some of them are related to the template.

I have found by query monitor plugin, duplicated queries. One of them is from WordPress core and the other from WooCommerce. As WooCommerce is integrated in Store theme, do you now how can I fix it?

As you can check these queries are related to product categories that are displayed in the search element of site header → https://prnt.sc/_4gNy_lctS4E .
There is a way to improve such queries by switching the search additional content to the one that differs from product categories value → https://prnt.sc/fjkDAcs8evh9 . You can set this option to the one of next “No content“/”Static block”/”URL Personalizata” and check if this helps you in your “slow queries” related question.

HI,

my website still work very slowly.
is it normal for an individual product to take 7 seconds to load? Do I have something wrong?
The main page works good , but when you click in a product, it load very very slow. And also, when you clic in any menu item (static block mega menu) works bad.

We made a test of one of your products and here is our thought and ideas for improving actions:
1/ Total size of page is too big – 16.5mb ( https://prnt.sc/9Vfan0c9VGQh )
2/ Checking the waterfall → https://prnt.sc/56hXqVXV6EiR (few images are the heaviest part to load on this page)
3/ Checking the one of image to optimize and here it the result that could be got → https://prnt.sc/q5d3brpVHePt
4/ So we recommend you first optimize images on your product pages (at least try one product’s image for testing)

1/ Slider revolution has option to load its styles/scripts globally or not → https://prnt.sc/n68X1RAS2C5y – we deactivated it already on your web-site.
2/ Also we noticed that your product images gallery uses extra plugin for displaying → https://prnt.sc/-yBw0YlQlGGT (Additional Variation Images Gallery for WooCommerce plugin → https://prnt.sc/CmIq9NRH8Zy1 )
We have our own option for making a variation gallery for variable products without activating the extra plugin and load extra scripts/styles for the carousel (Theme Options → WooCommerce → Single Product Page → Variation Gallery).

We can also recommend you contact with your hosting provider to ask for some speed up tweeks he can propose to you. As an idea you can try decreasing your PHP version because some plugins could have not perfect compatibility with php 8x version and works slower than with lower php version.
