Hi,
Someone else had this issue but after your team had a look at it the solution was that they have used a custom child theme which caused the issue.
We do not have a custom child theme nor any other modifications beside some CSS settings.
We get the same issue.
Any help would be appreciated.
WC version: 3.0.7
WP version: 4.7.5
WC database version: 3.0.7
Legenda version: 3.2
Edit: After playing around, this issue only occur on the step by step checkout. Quick checkout does not have this issue.
Hello,
Please try to activate Storefront theme – official WC theme and check if you have this issue with our theme only or even with official theme too. In case, problem appears only with our theme try to disable 3-rd party plugins (means the plugins that are not included in the theme package are not in the list of required plugins) and check your issue.
Please provide wp-admin access in Private Content.
Regards,
Rose Tyler.
Hi,
Same problem here..
I couldn’t identify the issue myself but it seems that a customer had the same problem on Chrome.
I made tests on Firefox, Chrome, and IE without any problem…
Is that issue completely solve?
I got only 3 files that I need to update in the childtheme…
legenda-child/woocommerce/content-single-product.php
legenda-child/woocommerce/single-product/related.php
legenda-child/woocommerce/single-product/up-sells.php
I don’t think that matter…
Thank you
Working with storefront and other themes – only in your theme I have this issue.
Chrome: Version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit)
– Quick checkout: OK
– Default: OK
– Step By Step: Error
Safari: Version 8.0.5 (10600.5.17)
– Quick checkout: OK
– Default: OK
– Step By Step: Error
It is only the step-by-step validation which goes wrong.
Hello, @smartwebasia,
Is your problem solved when you activate parent theme?

Rose Tyler.
Hello, @coffeebeanery,
Please provide wp-admin access in Private Content, because we have no such issue on our test site.

Rose Tyler.
Hi Rose,
I use the quick check out for now which works but you can clearly see that it is not just me.
You just got another support request regarding this matter:
https://www.8theme.com/topic/email-address-on-checkout-issues/
I could narrow it down to the step-by-step checkout and it is not related to the email address nor cache nor a browser. Tested it in Safari, Chrome and FF in different versions. However, if it is a browser issue it may related to that I am testing it on Mac OSX.
I am happy with the quick check out so there is no need for you to check my site. There are other customers with the same issue you can follow up on them.
Thank you.
Hello, @Rose,
Like I said, it seems that a customer had the same problem on Chrome but I couldnt reproduce the problem myslef. I made tests on Firefox, Chrome, and IE without any problem…
Anyway, It’s weird that several people face the same problem, you should monitor this issue…

Hello,
Thank you for the notice.
Regards,
Rose Tyler.
Same problem, it’s specific to the Legenda theme (e.g. changing to Storefront fixed the problem, disabling plugins made no difference either way). The problem occurs with email address of the form xxx.xxx@xxx.abc – notice the ‘.’ in the email address before the ‘@’ sign. This is reproducible. We need a fix – quickly.
Hi there,
That’s interesting! Someone can finally replicate the issue.
I have activated quick-checkout to get rid of the problem for the moment but I agree that should be fixed anyway.
