After installing the WooPayment plugin, the billing email is no longer visible on the checkout form. This prevents customers from completing orders, as the billing email is a required field.
We need a fix for that please.
Hello Smargasy,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern. We understand the importance of a smooth checkout process.
Please temporarily activate the Storefront theme (Appearance > Themes) and check how it works with this default WooCommerce theme.
If the problem is independent of the theme, contact the support of the WooPayment plugin.
Please note that we do not give a guarantee for full theme compatibility with all existing 3rd party plugins. Sometimes, not always, you need additionally customize the theme or plugin to make them work together. Unfortunately, it’s not possible for the author to make the theme compatible with all the existing plugins and additional customization is outside the scope of our basic support.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
The issue does not exist with the storefront theme. WooPayments is not just any plugin, it’s one of the most used ones after WooCommerce.
Hello Smargasy,
Please provide screenshots or a video of the correct work when Storefront is activated.
To assist you effectively, could you kindly provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? This will enable us to thoroughly investigate and address your concerns.
To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.
For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.
Best Regards,

Was this resolved? I am experiencing the same.
I just realized, after a week of no sales, that customers could not make purchases since an email is required.
Hello, Safe Desires,
We suggest activating another theme, specifically the Storefront (default WooCommerce theme), which can be found under Appearance > Themes in your dashboard. This test should help determine if the issues persist irrespective of the theme used.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
The site becomes completely useless if activating another theme. Going back to the previous point, WooPay seems to be as basic as a plugin as it gets and I would hope that it would work with your theme.
