Quick question; should the blank page template have a header?
I’m confused, I was building a ‘coming soon’ page recently using the blank page template. It was totally blank and began building the page, no problem.
However when I updated the theme last night it now has a header with the main menu etc. It also had a footer but I was able to just turn that off. I thought a blank page template wouldn’t have anything on it or did my theme not update properly?
Also, the Visual Composer seems painfully slow usually, it is taking me a lot of time to make changes/refresh pages etc, is there any tips/advice on speeding this up? (I will be cacheing the site after it is built but whilst I’m building it would be helpful to know if there is?)
Thanks 🙂

Hello,
Are there any problems on a server?
We can’t access your site now.
Please check it with your hosting provider.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
I just checked it there now & it appears to be working. Even tested FTP on a new computer and those details should work. Must have only been down temporarily. If you could try it again please that’d be great or explain what you might be looking for or maybe I could do it?
Thanks!
Hello,
Please try to edit the file blank.php in wp-content/themes/woopress directory and comment or remove the code
<?php
get_header();
?>
and
<?php
get_footer();
?>
After that check your page.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
