    Hello everyone,

    i just have a simple question regarding the standard template x store for the single blog page… how big can the image be in terms of data volume?

    the image in the standard template for the single blog page is sticky and I like the effect there and the template layout.

    but when scrolling the image it wobbles or quotes on the page…
    so my question is, what is the reason?

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out to us with your query.

    Regarding your question about the image size in terms of data volume, the optimal size can vary depending on several factors, but generally, we recommend keeping the image file size under 200 KB to ensure that the page loads efficiently while maintaining a good quality.
    There are different ways on how to compress images. Use special services or WordPress plugins to optimize your images for decreased loading times: tinypng.com, Compressor.io, Kraken.io, EWWW Image Optimizer, Smush Image Compression and Optimization plugin.

    As for the issue you mentioned about the image wobbling or quoting when scrolling, please record a video and provide the URL here.

    I don’t know … if it’s because of the file size – or if something is wrong

    Dear @Nio,

    We regret to inform you that the library currently utilized for creating the specified effect is causing the images to “jump.” Our team is actively seeking a solution to resolve this issue without the unwanted effect, although we cannot guarantee a definitive resolution at this moment.

    As a workaround, we suggest implementing the following custom CSS code. Please navigate to Theme Options, then select Theme Custom CSS, and finally input the code under Global CSS. This adjustment will help to make the image static and prevent the jumping effect:

    .single-post-large-wrapper .backstretch img {
        transform: none !important;
    }

    We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work towards a permanent solution. Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Best Regards,
