Body font setting doesn’t change in typography

    Hi there,

    When I change the Body font to a different one in the Typography settings, nothing changes. I changed it to Nunito and it changed, but I choose the 600 variant and it doesn’t do anything.

    In fact, I tried to change it to Open Sans or something else and now it just won’t work. Please check the private content area.

    1/ We have carefully reviewed your request and upon examination, it appears that the issue you are experiencing is related to a cache problem on your end. https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-features/how-to-setup-custom-fonts-with-xstore/

    Kindly proceed to Xstore > Theme Options > Speed Optimization. Once there, please locate and select Menu Dropdown Cache, Menu Cache, Static Blocks Cache, and Remove Query Strings From Static Resources. Subsequently, turn off these options.

    In the event that you are utilizing a cache plugin and CDN, we recommend temporarily disabling it.

    2/ If the changes you make in the Customizer are not reflected on the page, it is likely a caching issue. If the changes are visible in the Customizer, they should also be visible on the front end.

    3/ If the issue still persists, Please record a video of the problem for a better understanding. Upload it on a filesharing service, for example – https://wetransfer.com/ , and provide us with URL.

    Furthermore, we would appreciate it if you could create temporary wp-admin access and share the details via the private content area. This will allow us to review your settings and better understand the issue at hand.

    We kindly recommend that you take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

    Hi,

    I did all that but still no joy. I then checked the Elementor settings and it is set to Lato for the global font. How do I disable Elementor from using it’s own setting and use the X-store theme one?

    So all the text I have there is the Lato font and even when I change it in Elementor global settings, it doesn’t change. Will I have to go and do it to every text box on the website?

    Update: It’s okay. I found the setting in Elementor and have disabled it. So now it uses the settings from the the Theme.
