Hello,
is there any solution to clean the cache of brand custom taxonomy.
I explain my situation: on my shop, I enter products and once the products are soldout, the still appear on my brand list filter…
I tried to clean using the Woocommerce tool > Clean brand transient
without succes….
thanks in advance
Yohann
Hello,
WooCommerce tool > Clean brand transient would delete the brands cache. But brands list widget does not hide brands that have out-of-stock products. It does not have the option to show only in-stock products. If you want to hide out of stock products from the catalog go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory > Hide out of stock items from the catalog.

First of all, thanks for your answer.
I did it, including the Woocommerce inventory HIde out of stock setting.
This does not work… All brands are still appearing in my shop filters…
Hello,
Provide us with WP Dashboard and FTP access to your site, please.
Regards
OK, here they are.
Just to mention that I had change the text BRAND for ARTIST in a custom snippet, but I deactivate it to check and this has no influence on the cache for BRAND taxonomy.
Also, cleaning cache from WP ROCKET I installed does not change anything.
Thanks,
Yohann
Hello,
Provide us also with FTP access to your site. We need to check the code in files and improve it to fix the problem with the Brands filter widget.

no problem, here they are.
Thanks for your work again!! 🙂
Hello,
Thank you. I passed the issue to our developers. I’ll inform you once they fix the problem.

Check now, please.

Hello,
unfortunately, always the same…
For example, see screenshot with products out of stock, but these brands still appear….

Hello,
Sorry, but the mentioned widget is not XStore theme widget. It comes from the third-party plugin that you use. So, contact filter plugin author about this. I thought that you are talking about 8theme Filter by brand widget.

It was just a sample to show you that the brand transient cache does not clean….
If I try the XStore widget, same thing, these brands appear although there’s no product related to these…
I put the Xstore widget BRAND LIST in the right footer column, and as you can see, the brands ABYSSAL and AGATUS (with no product related) are part of the list…

Sorry, my mistake, it works!
I will contact the plugin auhtor.
Thanks
Yohann
