Bug with Yith Wishlist integration - by virtualabode

    Hi Xstore Support team

    I’ve discovered a bug in the Xstore theme for integration with the Yith Wishlist plugin and hoping you can fix it as a high priority request, i.e.

    • if you hover your cursor over the wishlist icon in the header navbar (.navbar-header) of all pages the text that displays is only ever the websites primary language;
    • the link on the same icon also only ever points to the website’s first language, even when the website has been switched to a different language.

    Could you provide me temporary admin panel and FTP access to check and fix the issue?

    Unfortunately this doesn’t fix it, i.e.

    • if I add an item to the Wishlist whilst in the English version of the site the text correctly shows in English, but when I then switch to Chinese version of the site the text still incorrectly shows in English;
    • also, if I add an item to the Wishlist whilst in the Chinese version of the site the text correctly shows in Chinese, but when I then switch to English version of the site the text still incorrectly shows in Chinese;

    I can see the same bug still showing on the Xstoree demo site as well – https://www.8theme.com/demo/xstore/translation/tr/

    Hello,

    Please, change the permissions for our user because we can’t check the backend and settings. Also, provide me FTP access. Our translation demo uses old version of theme and WPML plugin, that’s why this problem persists.

    Our dev installation does not have this issue that’s why we need to check backend of your site and files.

    Hello,

    Please, enable FTP account to fix this issue. You’ll be able to deactivate it once we solve the problem.

    Hi Olga

    We’re not able to activate FTP access as we do everything via Git only. You can of course fix the issue on your own demo website then provide details for me, and potentially other, to refer to. I noticed your demo website https://www.8theme.com/demo/xstore/translation/tr/ still has the same bug as us.

    Hello,

    As I have already told our demo uses the old version of WPML plugin and our theme. We can’t replicate problem on installations that have up to date version of plugins and theme. If you can’t provide me FTP then please, send us a full copy of your site and DB to sort out what causes problem on your site.
