    Dear XStore Theme Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. We are in the final stages of designing our website using the Spice Shop pre-built theme from XStore. As we near completion, we’ve encountered a couple of issues related to the promotional offers sections that we hope you can help us resolve.

    1. Shop in Bundle & Save More (Homepage): We are looking to customize the “Shop in Bundle & Save More” section on our homepage. Could you please guide us on where in the admin panel we can set up these types of bundle offers? We need detailed instructions on how to configure these settings to ensure the offers are displayed correctly and are appealing to our customers.

    2. Buy More Save More (Single Product Page): We have set up the “Buy More Save More” section on our single product pages with customized numbers of items and percentage discounts. However, these discounts are not being applied at the checkout page. It seems there might be a configuration or syncing issue. Can you provide us with a step-by-step guide or check if there’s a specific setting we might be missing?

We would appreciate any screenshots, documentation, or direct instructions that can assist us in configuring these features correctly. Ensuring these promotional elements work flawlessly is crucial for our marketing strategy and customer engagement.

Thank you for your assistance and support. We look forward to your swift response to help us finalize our website setup.

    Best regards,

    Hello 8Theme’s Team,

Thank you for your response. However, I think there may have been a misunderstanding regarding my queries.

    1. I am aware that the homepage content can be edited using Elementor, as indicated in your screenshot. My question, however, pertains specifically to the creation and configuration of offers like the one currently showing which states “6 spices, save $2.99 and ships free in the US!” I am looking to understand where and how these offer sets are built within the theme. Specifically, how can customers create their own sets, and how are these calculations managed within the system to reflect correctly at checkout?

    2. Regarding the single product page and the Sales Booster > Quantity Discounts settings: I have set up discounts such as “Buy from 5 to 7 items and get 15% OFF on each product”. While these are configured, the discounts are not being applied at the checkout page as they should. Could you please guide me on where these calculations are processed within the theme, and how to ensure they automatically apply and display correctly when customers reach the checkout page?

I appreciate your guidance on how to correctly set up and ensure these functionalities work as intended on our site.

    Best Regards,

    Dear XStore Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. We have recently encountered a sudden and unexpected issue with our shop page layout using the XStore theme. Despite our efforts in designing and finalizing the layout, the live version of the shop page has changed without any modifications from our end.

Upon reviewing the layout through both the Customizer and Elementor, the page appears as originally designed and finalized. However, this is not reflected on the live site, which is displaying a different layout altogether. This discrepancy is causing confusion and may impact the user experience negatively.

Could you please assist us in resolving this issue? We need to ensure that the shop page layout on the live site matches the version we have created and verified in Elementor and the Customizer.

Additionally, could you provide guidance on why this sudden change might have occurred and how to prevent such issues in the future? Any insights or steps we can take to maintain the integrity of our site design would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. We look forward to your guidance and support.

    Dear @Spice-Land Wholesale,

We hope this message finds you well. We would like to provide you with guidance on utilizing the features of our theme and address some issues you may be experiencing with your website.

    1. Quantity Discounts and Free Shipping Setup: We recommend reviewing the following articles to better understand how to implement quantity discounts and configure free shipping under specific conditions within our theme:
    – For quantity discounts, please visit: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-features/how-to-setup-booster-sales-quantity-discounts/ or you may use additional plugin that cover all the needs you have.
    – For setting up free shipping, refer to: https://www.8theme.com/topic/free-shipping-visible-all-the-time-after-setting-minimum-order-quantity/#post-403410.

    2. Plugin Compatibility: If you are using additional plugins such as ‘WooCommerce Dynamic Pricing & Discounts’ that serve similar purposes, we advise choosing either the plugin or the built-in feature of our theme to avoid conflicts. Please ensure that the other remains inactive as in common they could conflict with each other.

    3. WooCommerce Configuration Notice: We noticed a message at the bottom of your Shop page https://prnt.sc/flsd6iQDu0Mn from login customer view, indicating that the display of such notice is not generated by our theme. It appears your WooCommerce settings are configured for a staging website https://prnt.sc/m6NMJXXcqZb9, which may have activated a ‘Coming Soon’ mode for some pages. For more details on configuring these settings, please consult the WooCommerce documentation: https://woocommerce.com/document/configuring-woocommerce-settings/coming-soon-mode/.

    4. CDN Cache Issue: The layout issues on your Shop page might be related to the CDN cache active on your website. Even the modifications made in the Elementor editor are not reflecting on the actual frontend, suggesting a strong cache setting either on your server or through certain plugins. We recommend contacting your hosting provider to resolve this issue as it is beyond the scope of our theme support.

Should you require further assistance or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to help ensure your website operates smoothly and efficiently.

    Dear XStore Support Team,

Thank you for your prompt response and for addressing the shop page layout issue. Turning off the “Coming Soon” page has indeed resolved the layout problem, and we appreciate your help with that.

However, we are still facing unresolved issues with the discount setups both on the homepage (“Shop in Bundle & Save” sections) and the shop page (“Buy More Save More!” sections). Despite following the instructions provided and removing the WooCommerce Dynamic Pricing & Discounts plugin, the discounts are still not reflecting on the checkout page.

The main challenge we’re experiencing is not with setting up the discounts in the Sales Booster as instructed but rather ensuring these discounts are automatically applied at checkout. The same concern applies to the homepage, where we need these discounts to be visible and automatically calculated during the purchase process.

You already have our login details, so we kindly ask that you add products to the cart from the “Buy More Save More!” sections and verify that the discounts do not reflect at checkout. If possible, implementing this functionality for us would be much appreciated as we have struggled to set it up correctly.

Could you please provide detailed guidance on where exactly these automated discounts should be set up within your system? We need these discounts to be reliably visible and applied without manual intervention from the customer’s side.

We appreciate your continued support and are eager to resolve these issues promptly.

Dear Jack Richardson and the 8Theme Team,

Thank you for your prompt response and for verifying the functionality of the Quantity Discount feature on our website. The screenshots and documentation provided were helpful.

However, while the discounts are indeed being calculated at checkout, there is a lack of visibility regarding the discounted prices during the shopping process. Customers are unable to see the discounted rates until they reach the checkout page, which can be confusing and might deter them from completing a purchase. On checkout page it should show full price minus savings and sub total. Could you suggest a way to make these discounts more visible earlier in the shopping process, perhaps by showing the discounted price directly on the product and cart pages?

Additionally, we are still awaiting guidance on setting up the “Shop in Bundle & Save” sections on our homepage. We need specific instructions on how to create these bundles and enable customers to build their own bundles. This feature is crucial for our marketing and sales strategy, and we would appreciate detailed support on how to implement it effectively.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to your solutions and hope to resolve these issues soon.

    8Theme Team,

After further review of our website, we’ve identified two critical issues that need immediate attention:

    1. Price Reflection Issue on Shop Page: When a customer selects a size/amount from the dropdown menu (e.g., “3 Beans”), and then adjusts the quantity, the total price displayed does not update correctly to reflect the multiplied amount (e.g., 1*X amount, 2*2X amount). This issue may confuse customers about the actual cost they are committing to.

    2. Discount Persistence Issue on Cart Page: There is a significant glitch concerning our “Buy More Save More” offers. If a customer adds products to the cart that initially qualify for a discount (e.g., 10% off for 2 items) and then changes the quantity in the cart from 2 to 1, the discounted price erroneously remains applied even though the criteria for the discount are no longer met. This issue could lead to incorrect pricing being offered to customers.

Both of these glitches could potentially disrupt the customer shopping experience. We would appreciate it if your team could look into these issues and provide a solution or workaround as soon as possible.

We look forward to your swift response and resolution.

    Best regards

    Dear @Spice-Land Wholesale,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your inquiries.

Regarding your request to create bundled products, please note that this functionality is not available by default within our theme. However, it can be implemented using additional plugins. We recommend searching for suitable plugins independently or consulting with WooCommerce support for recommendations tailored to your needs. WooCommerce also provides documentation that includes several methods for setting up product bundles on your website, available in both free and paid options. You can find more details at the following link: https://woocommerce.com/document/group-bundle-products-woocommerce/#section-11.

Additionally, we have taken note of the bug you reported concerning incorrect calculations of quantity discounts when quantities are reduced on the Cart page. We have tested it on our tests web-sites and found no issue so we need to take a deep look onto the issue you are expecting. We have forwarded this issue to our development team for further investigation and resolution. In the meantime, we suggest deactivating our feature and reactivating the previously installed “WooCommerce Dynamic Pricing & Discounts” plugin to see if it resolves the issue. This temporary solution may allow you to continue developing your website without delay while we address the quantity discount bug, which is on our list of priorities alongside other critical issues.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to enhance your experience with our products. Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Dear Jack Richardson and the 8Theme Team,

Thank you for your prompt response and for addressing some of the issues we’ve highlighted. We appreciate your recommendations regarding the bundle products and the steps you are taking to investigate the discount calculation issues on the Cart page.

However, there are two additional concerns that were not addressed in your previous communication:

    1. Price Adjustment Based on Quantity on Product Pages: On individual product pages, when a customer selects a specific quantity, the total price displayed should automatically update to reflect the selected quantity multiplied by the unit price (e.g., if 3 units are selected at $X each, the displayed price should be 3*X). This functionality is crucial for clear communication of pricing to customers.

    2. Detailed Price Breakdown on Cart Page: It is important for our customers to see a detailed breakdown of prices, including any discounts applied and the total savings achieved during their shopping experience. This transparency not only helps in building trust but also enhances customer satisfaction as they can clearly see the benefits of their purchases.

We believe these functionalities are essential for providing a seamless and transparent shopping experience on our website. Could you please advise on how we might address these issues or if there are specific settings that we could utilize to achieve this functionality?

Your continued support and guidance are invaluable to us as we strive to optimize our e-commerce platform. We look forward to your suggestions and a swift resolution to these outstanding concerns.

    Dear @Spice-Land Wholesale,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to address your recent inquiry regarding the application of quantity discounts on our XStore theme.

    1. I have reviewed the application of the discount for one of the products in your store by adding the different amount of such product to cart. As per the conditions set in the “Quantity Discount” section of the XStore theme, the discount should indeed be applied only after purchasing two or more items. I noticed that discount not applied (and it is correct) once we added only one item as shown here: https://prnt.sc/Dff74yPf0AyM. To demonstrate the discount application, I added one more item of the same product, which can be viewed here: https://prnt.sc/T8GRGa_nd1Cf. A 10% discount was successfully applied after adding an additional item of the same product to your cart. If there are other specifics or scenarios you were referring to, please provide further details, screenshots, or videos for a clearer understanding of the issue.

    2. We have also tested the functionality of increasing and decreasing the quantity of products on your Cart page, and confirm that it is working correctly. You can view the process in the following videos:
    – Increasing the quantity and observing the price decrease upon reaching 4 or more items: https://gyazo.com/b4bb1345fe86d5517653ea56404713b6
    – Decreasing the quantity and observing the price increase when the count falls below 4 items: https://gyazo.com/3083e359f6c0df9456784f18
    – Your current settings for quantity discounts can be seen here: https://prnt.sc/nd5yOPepGKZk

Additionally, we would like to remind you of our previous suggestion to consider utilizing another plugin that you have used before if our built-in functionality does not fully meet your preferences. Please remember that the use of all our features is optional and should be tailored to your specific needs.

Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
