Buy it now button on product viewer on homepage (replace select options)

1. Hi can anyone please tell me how i can change the product viewer on my home page so it comes up with “buy it now” instead of select options.

Hello, @bagshaw50,

Variable product displays Select options title by default on the shop page and home page. Buy now title displays only for the affiliate products. So, it’s impossible that you had that title for the variable products button without additional customization. show the Add to cart title for that button on the shop page you need to display product attributes on the grid as we do on the demo using the built-in variation swatches feature https://xstore.8theme.com/product-category/pullovers/. if you want just to rename that button you can try this solution in the child theme https://www.businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-rename-select-options-button-shop-page/

Hi on the demo it shows you can add to cart without the “select options” and the attributes are showed on the shop page. However, the documentation only shows how to get it so it says select options. how can i get it the same as the demo you have sent the link to?

The demo on the original reply shows the attributes and then an add to cart button, however, the video just shows you how set attributes up and enable variation swatches. I already have this. But I need a video showing me to just display add to cart

on woo commerce > Products Style > Product Content Elements

I ahve enabled add to cart but its still showing select options

Hello, @bagshaw50,

Yes, I see that you have enabled the option and the variations appear on the home and shop page when you choose variation from any product the add to cart button appears as you can see in this image of your site:
https://postimg.cc/SJmP6d5g without choosing any variations the add to cart button appears. So, in case you want to show add to cart button from the very beginning then edit products and set the default (pre-selected) variation: https://postimg.cc/5YjzY8bD

The demo does not have the select options though

the demo sows the size variations with a cart – there is no “select options” and no default variation picked

i would like to mirror the demo…?

This does not have “select options” button

yes it shows the variations that ened to be selected but there is an image of a bag (Add to cart) I want to mirror this.

At the moment mine has a button saying “select options” which i want to replace so it is exactly like the demo as in the link

Hello,

to get q-ty on the shop page enable Add To Cart With Quantity option (Theme Option > WooCommerce > Shop > Products Style).
But keep in mind that if you try to press that button you also get tooltip that you need to choose the variation to add to cart https://prnt.sc/70Y0WyIsnvAy

Hi so sorry one more question

my single product page is now shwoing the variation as a drop down box instead… how do i go back to showing it as a box rather than drop down
