    Good day.

I am not sure why, but I cannot edit any pages. Keeps saying enable safe mode.
I have tried disabling all plugins other than Elementor, with the same results?

Thank you. I am not sure if it is because I am using it from PC, but please see screenshot. I do not know why it is doing this, as on my MAC I can edit.

    Hello, Rowan Keizer,

Have you resolved the issue with the child theme?

In reference to your statement, “…as on my MAC I can edit,” could you please clarify if you are able to edit on one of your devices, but not on another? It is possible that the issue may be caused by a third-party browser extension, an outdated browser version, or cached data.

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team

I do not think it is this, as I have tried on other devices as well as browsers. Even with the Safari browser on a Mac, in does sometimes still say Enable Safe Mode, but when you refresh the browser it seems to allow you to edit it.

    Hello, Rowan Keizer,

Could you please specify which page you were trying to edit? Kindly provide the URL of the exact page. In our tests, we used the Chrome browser.

    Hi Rose;

It is any page that I would edit with Elementor, the homepage, product page, etc.

    Dear @Rowan Keizer,

We hope this message finds you well.

We regret to inform you that we have been unable to replicate the issue you are experiencing, as we are able to edit your pages without any problems. In light of this, we recommend continuing to edit your pages from the devices where it is currently possible. Alternatively, you may try switching to a default theme, such as StoreFront or HelloElementor, and see if the issue persists.

If the problem with content editing continues after trying these steps, we kindly suggest reaching out to Elementor support, as the issue does not appear to be related to our theme.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson
