Cannot install the Ultimate addons for Visual Composer

Hey guys,

Having some troubles with this plugins. I tried both way downlaading from the wordpress admin and uploading the plugin downloaded from your webiste via FTP.

Nothing works… I always have an error message.

Trying to install through the wordpress admin I get this message: PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

When I upload via FTP the plugin version of your website and I want to activate the plugin, I get this message: Le fichier de l’extension n’existe pas. (The file extension does not exist.)

Can you please help me fixing this?

I didn’t see any problem. I just reuploaded plugin folder via FTP and activated it in wp-admin panel.

Did you download the plugin here https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ ?
The link is working properly. I checked it and the plugin archive was downloaded successfully.

Yes I downloaded the plugin there! Anyway. We have a new problem that just come.

We had the same problem when we first installed the theme too. Visual composer is bugging. See the image below

Could you please fix this? I don’t know what’s happening but every time we add some new content like a row with a text block inside or anything else (like the footer we’ve imported from your xml file) everything is just fucked up. We do not see any visual composer assets like in the picture!

Hey,

Take any admin page, and change anything through the visual composer, then update the page. And boom, it’s broken !

You’ve deleted the footer we imported and so deleted the problem.

Before deleting the footer did you had this problem? http://hpics.li/f03311d

Yes, I saw it but there wasn’t any content.
Did you imported footer from xml file in the theme package?

yes I did ! That’s what was created. Well that’s the problem. Please try this:

Go to pages > Home > With Visual Compose: Add a ROW > Move the row to the top of the visual composer section > Add a text block inside the row and publish.

Does it break everything? When I do that, it breaks everything !

Did you updated the page? The problem arrives once you publish the modification ! Once I update the page with the new text block I see this: http://hpics.li/f03311d

I don’t understand what you see. Do you have the same problem as me?

Reimporte the footer and do something like this http://postimg.org/image/68qni8adj/

For me: as you can see, everything works fine til I UPDATE the static block. Once I update the static block it becomes like this: http://hpics.li/f03311d

Please do the followings:

Go to the importer Variant Footer 3 in the static box.

Duplicate the USEFULL LINKS item and put it in the four columns. Remove everything else from the 4 columns. So you will have 4 columns each column with one of the duplicate USEFUL LINKS. Update the page so that it can be visible on the website. (The page will reload after you update it) and that’s exactly at that moment that everything breaks up. Once the page has been updated and reloaded, I can’t change anything more in the visual composer cuz everything has been deleted (that’s the bug)

I’ve done what you said, updated the block and still VC editor is working properly.
