    Hello,

I would like to use a menu item image and it works fine for my two first menu items, but for the rest I cannot seem to save the settings to not repeat background and background position. I can change it but everytime I save it doesn’t save. What could I be doing wrong?

Please see print screen in private content.

    Kind regards
    Linda

    Hello,

If you have a lot of menu items and can’t save changes then you need to increase PHP Max Input Vars. By default it is 1000, try to set 5000 or 8000 for example http://sevenspark.com/wordpress/menu-item-limit

    Regards

    Hello

I’ve changed max_input_vars to 10000 and the problem remains. I can add image and do other changes in the menu without any problem, but I just cannot change/save background repeat and background position.

Could it be something else than the max_input_vars value?

    Kind regards
    Linda

    Hello,

You were right of course:) By mistake I changed the value on the server level and not on the specific domain (or something like that). Anyway, now it is correctly changed and the menu is working as it should. Thank you very much for your help, again I couldn’t have figured this out by myself:)

Btw, is the theme compatible with PHP 7.2.9? I tried before to update the PHP version, but then the site wouldn’t work. But I guess it could also be a plugin or something that is not compatible.

    Kind regards
    Linda

    Hello,

    You’re welcome!
We tested royal with PHP 7.2 and did not find compatibility issues. Unfortunately, we did not test our theme with PHP 7.2.9.

    Regards
