    Hi,
    I just wanted to upgrade from 2.9.2 to 3.2 but I cannot activate it. How can I deactivate and previous activation?

    I need to upgrade because of woocommerces issues that I’m trying to solve (when 1 variation out of stock, the out of stock badges shows up on product while several variations have stock.

    Hello, @TutakJJ,

    Yes, may use the 1 license for the 1 dev domain and 1 live domain. But keep in mind that you can use our theme license for 1 end product only.

    Activated but site is blank! (reverted back to previous again).

    Seems like I also have to use the wizard, very dangerous.. one wrong click and I my current childtheme might be overwritten and default content might get loaded !? I don’t like that at all.

    I quit when FTP credentials were asked? I’m not providing those, never had to and it is not very secure to provide FTP access? Please provide a proper solution.

    Please read in our documentation about theme update https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/installation_upgrade.
    Before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/woopress/ to avoid problems with old files (it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package).
    Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process!
    You need to enter your purchase code and SKIP Setup Wizard.

    Also, update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ (To update free plugins just click on update link from your Dashboard (Plugins > Installed Plugins). To update premium plugins, connect to your server using FTP. Copy extracted plugins folders into wp-content/plugins/).

    I checked all these, not sure how to check the file_get_contents() but all rest is fine.

      file_get_contents() function should be enabled in the server configuration;
      PHP version: 5.3 or higher;
      max_execution_time: no less than 180;
      memory_limit: no less than 64M;
      upload_max_filesize: no less than 40M.

    All plugins are up to date. Lateste WP version is installed.
    When woopress 2.9.2 is active, al is fine. When I activate 3.2 my site goes blank, no error.
    I have both version on the server and rename the one I want to activate to woopress which is my active theme. The not active is for example woopress x.x

    maybe i should create new topic?

    You just need to turn off a debug mode in wordpress https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress and check if you have any error message on the white screen.
    Also, contact your hosting provider and confirm that file_get_contents() function is enabled.
    Let us know results.

    There were no errors in server log or debug log. Well only related to some plugin which seemed to be irrelevant.

    It turned out that the blank site was caused by an ‘old’ header.php which I edited in the child theme folder for seo purposes (added hfeed class). Due to a change in new header.php this caused the error. I now (temporary) disabled the header.php in my child theme.

    I still have another issue. I will open a new topic on that.
    Thank you.
