Hi! I created a footer for a different site using your static blocks, and I remember that I could use visual composer and add widgets to the static block so that I could then create a master static block that had all the elements I wanted. However, I can’t get visual composer to work with static blocks at all anymore which stinks, and I can’t add any widgets – so for example my social profile widget doesn’t line up with the rest of the static block info.

Thank you! I am sure I am just missing something obvious somewhere – because even the video tutorial on your site is different than what I see in static blocks. Thanks!
Hello,
Navigate to Dashboard->Visual Composer->Role Manager->Post Types->Custom->and select all of them.

thank you – I knew it was something simple I was missing!
I still can’t find how to just add a regular widget (not the full widget sidebar) to the static block? I know I’ve done this in the past – thanks for your help and the reminder. Where do I do this? I want to add the Jetpack Facebook like widget into the static block so I can make sure it’s all aligned.
Do you mean this element? http://prntscr.com/bnhknx
Click on the backend editor then add element.

Yeah but I can’t figure out how to add only one widget into the static block – that inserts an entire sidebar. Or am I missing something?
You should create the custom sidebar with some content in Appearance->Widgets and then you can select new sidebar in the dropdown list of Widgetised element.

Duh….LOL go me. Thanks again! I knew it had to be something obvious I was missing!
