Hi.
I can’t modify my header in wordpress, when i use 8Theme options->General.
If I change the color, type or font, then nothing happens when I reload the webpage.
Iv’e tried both Header Background and Fixed Header Background.
The same issue appears if I try to change the color for cart number label or Background color for cart number label – nothing happens.
How do I fix this?
Hello,
Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us.
Do you use latest theme version? https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/
Also, make sure that all required plugins are up-to-date – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/plugins-update/

Hi.
How do I see, if I’m using the latest version of the theme?
I’ve updated all the plugings, but still no respons, when I try to change header settings.
Hello,
Theme version you can check in Appearance > Themes > press details button over the theme. The latest version is 4.21.1. To update theme go to Dashboard > Updates > press check for updates button and then choose theme to update.
If you use the latest version but options do not work then reply back and provide admin panel and FTP access.
Regards
The version of the theme XStore is 4.21.1, but the child theme (which I’m using, is 0.0.1).
Hello,
Please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access in Private Content.
Regards
I’m using MAMP, so how do we solve this?
I think it might be the cache which might be the problem.
I have similar problems with my style.css – nothing happens when I write new code in the file.

Hello,
If you use latest theme version and all your plugins are up-to-date + you have checked all the server requirements before the installation https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/xstore-theme-requirements/ Theme Options should work fine. Yes, your problems can be caused by the cache, try to clear all cache and temporary disable it at all.
Also, your custom css code needs to be added in Theme Options > Styling > Custom css or in style.css file of child theme (do not edit style.css file of parent theme).
To explore your problems more deeply, we need to check your site, so contact us once you move your site to live server and we’ll help you in no time.
Regards
