Hi, I cannot change the theme language to Russian. Although I translated the translation files to the specified address and installed the Loco translator. Please help me figure it out. Why complicate it so much? Or am I missing something?
Hello,
Make sure that you selected the desired language in Dashboard > Settings > Site Language.
Please read our documentation – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/
and docs of WC – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-localization/
Do not forget about Core plugin. Loco translate > Plugins > XStore Core > New language > Choose a language + Choose a location – System > Start translating.
Regards
Thank you, Rose! I have already read and did it all. My site and WordPress are in Russian. I need the theme itself, that is, the menu, header, footer and everything else, to be in Russian. Is it possible to do it or do I need to translate everything manually myself?
You need to translate it manually, replace the demo content by own.
If you are using Elementor, do not forget to enable it for static blocks and products – https://prnt.sc/urvkgs
Regards
I’m not talking about demo content, but about the system language of your theme such as “Return to previous page” “View all products” “YOU MAY ALSO LIKE” “Subtotal” etc.
Please check our docs one more time, download translation files from here – https://prnt.sc/urxc8q https://prnt.sc/urxee5 and place into /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder with correct names – https://prnt.sc/urxdch Then click on Sync button – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/translation-files-update/ https://prnt.sc/urxfrb and continue translation.

Hello again,
The first time when I install your theme I translated XStore Core using the Loco plugin, but I could not translate the theme itself. Now when I reinstalled WordPress and the theme, the theme was translated, but XStore Core was not. I can’t understand what’s the matter … can you help?
Hello,
Where is the core plugin translation file is located? Use either system or custom http://prntscr.com/uu3tc6 Don’t use the author because you will lose translation after the plugin update.
If the translation was removed then you need to create it again and translate the necessary strings.
Regards
I did it, but there is no result. Where can I find and get this file: xstore-core-ru_RU.po?
Hello,
You need to create it from scratch (Loco translate > Plugins > XStore Core > New language > Choose a language + Choose a location – System > Start translating). “System” location means that translation files of plugins will be placed in /wp-content/languages/plugins/ folder.
Regards
But, you advertised that your theme has already been translated into Russian. Now you are saying that I need to translate everything from scratch myself?
Hello,
We have a partial translation for theme files https://www.8theme.com/topic/%f0%9f%87%b7%f0%9f%87%ba-russian-%d1%80%d1%83%d1%81%d1%81%d0%ba%d0%b8%d0%b9-ru_ru/#post-235585 but not for the XStore core, unfortunately. Also, you can translate only the necessary strings that you see on the frontend. You can take some translation from WooCommerce translation and from XStore theme translation because the XStore core plugin includes many similar strings.
