Can’t create color swatch for variations

There are 2 issues (please be patient). I have multisite.

1) a variable product has color attribute. I can’t configure the color code to the variation like “blue”, “green”, etc… so the color would be displayed on the single page.

2) a variable product has attribute size like “small”, medium”. the status of these sizes are “out of stock”, but on single page , these attributes are NOT displayed with “Cross-line” (set in Customizer). Only the “add-t-cart” button is not displayed once these attributes are clicked which are correct. But the cross-line are NOT displayed on the attributes.
