As an example to be more specific:
I have an eshop with a lot of shoes that have different sizes .Some of those sizes aren’t on stock .So i need a way for my client to filter off the sizes that don’t much his size.
Default “filter by size” Widget doesn’t work correctly.
If a user choose size==37 the website shows him all the products that have size==37 ,even if they are out of stock(stock quantity == 0).
Can we have a work around this problem because i think thats gonna be very frustrating for my clients?
Hi
Go to Woocommerce → Settings and click the Products tab
Click the Inventory link at the top
Check the Out Of Stock Visibility option to hide out of stock items
Note:- If stock management is enabled at parent level, it will not consider all of the child stock levels if those are enabled also. If you’re managing stock levels per variation the parent level should not be set nor enabled, then it will respect the levels and stock statuses of the variations themselves.
I am not sure that i understand what you mean by parent level stock managment .
If you meant this managed stock is unticked anyway for all variant products : https://prnt.sc/10b7ev8
I manage my stock from variation tab on each product (>stock quantity option): https://prnt.sc/10b7m4o
I am also show you my settings in woocomerce>settings>inventory tab : https://prnt.sc/10b7trx
The problem remains,so to give you an example of the problem, and be more specific check this photo: https://prnt.sc/10b7olo
In this example i have use “filter by size” and i am searching for size 38 .You can see that a lot of products shown there ,aren’t available for this size.
