I ordered this theme from themeforest. I downloaded the wp zip file for this theme and uploaded it to wordpress under the upload theme options in the wordpress admin panel. It tries to upload, and then I get an error message:

“Do you want to really do this?”

    Please try again.

And after trying this several times, I keep getting that same message.

    What am I missing?

I’m using bluehost as my host.

    Thanks.

    Bob.

    That solved the problem. Thanks.

My next question is that when I’m in the wordpress admin screen it says your woocommerce plugin is not up to date, even though I installed the newest version from the plugin manager. I think your theme may already come with the woocommerce and that’s probably why there is this conflict?

This is the exact message I’m getting:

Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files – if you encounter functionality issues on the frontend this could the reason. Ensure you update or remove them (in general we recommend only bundling the template files you actually need to customize). See the system report for full details.

I installed one of the demos and I was wondering if it is possible to modify it to my liking? Change up the text, pictures, etc.? I’m not sure where to find that page in my admin section.

    Thanks.

Sorry, I also forgot to mention that my existing main webpage has been replaced by the demo page, and I’m not sure how to revert it back to my main website page. After installing the demo, it completely erased my main webpage.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

I’ve changed the home page to yours in wp-admin panel > Settings > Reading. Please check if it’s correct.
Concerning the Woocommerce warning you can ignore it as it won’t affect on the site work. It’ll be fixed in our next update.
Also please specify what changes you want to make in demo pages.
    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

Thanks for your help! I’m really liking this theme. Great job.

I’m finally beginning to get the hang of it.

Just a couple of more questions and then I think I should be good to go.

My footer section, I want the text to be white in color on the black background. How do I do that?

For my header, I tried to replace the default logo with mine, but I can’t. If you access my wp-admin section, you’ll see that I tried uploading the logo image for my website but it still doesn’t appear when I load up the website. I also want to slightly increase the font of the heading menu.

The final question, has to do with typography. I will describe that part in the private content area.

    Hello,

Thank you very much. We’ll appreciate if you leave a comment and rate our theme on themeforest site http://themeforest.net/item/royal-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/8611976

Concerning the footer you should go to Theme Options and select footer color and light color scheme for the font. How to create footer you can watch the Legenda video tutorial, as the process is identical.
If you want to change font you can do this for all elements in Theme Options > Typography. Unfortunately we don’t have separate settings for the menu.
If you import other pages and font isn’t changed there, then font styles may be written while creating a page. In this case you need open the page for editing and check the element where the style isn’t changed.
Regarding the logo please try to change folders permissions where your image is located to 777.

    Thank you.

    Eva Kemp.

    Hi,

    1) I tried watching the Legenda video tutorial, however, when I go into static blocks, I don’t see visual composer. I’m not sure why that’s the case. Before switching over to this theme, I had another theme which came with visual composer included. Do you think that might have anything to do with it? Visual composer works fine when I create regular wordpress pages.

    2) For the logo, I did what you specified and even had my hosting service look into it to make sure I was doing it correctly. The tech agent couldn’t figure it out either. In the private content field, I will provide you with my login to my hosting server. Please see if you can determine why my logo is still not appearing.

    Thanks.

    Bob

    Hello,
    1) To Use Visual Composer for static blocks you should enable it, read here https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/index.html#!/visual_composer
    2) You use third-party plugin Ultimate TinyMCE which is not compatible with our theme and causes this problem. Disable plugin, please.

Thank you very much! That solved all the problems.

How do you get rid of the contact us (red box) that scrolls down with the page?

I just wanted to thank all of your support staff for promptly answering all my questions and not merely referring me to the theme documentation and videos. I think that’s what distinguishes you guys from some of the other themes I purchased in the past.

Once again. Thank you very much!!!

    Hello,

You are welcome! We are glad to help you and thanks for good thoughts! “Contact Us” red box is Live Chat plugin. You can disable it at Plugins > Screets Live Chat > Deactivate.
Yes, would be very appreciate if you leave a rating! You can do this in Downloads area. Login to your account on ThemeForest, go to Downloads area, find Royal theme and you’ll see the stars next to it.
    Thank you!

    Thanks, that suggestion did it.

Is this theme compatible with visual composer extensions plugin and ultimate addons for visual composer plugin? I find that I can’t get the parallax feature to work.

    Thanks.

I just noticed that under typography settings, the heading 1, and heading 2 don’t seem to be working. The body font works perfectly when you modify it, it changes throughout the website. But for heading 1 and 2, no matter what I change the settings to, the text does not undergo any change.

Previously, I asked a similar question regarding typography issues and you fixed it by disabling tinyMCE.

Any ideas why this may be happening?

    Thanks.

Ignore the typography question. I imported another demo of this theme and that somehow corrected the problem.

Now again, I have a problem with typography settings on the theme menu. I change the size of h2 in the settings and it doesn’t affect the size, only the color can be changed.

    Thanks bob
