A simple ls -l wp-content/themes/royal/framework/inc/really-simple-captcha/tmp/603797175.png on my server shows:
    128037081.png 1335117789.txt….ect

yet the .pngs requested don’t correspond with existing .pngs

GD is installed and is version 2.0.36.

Any known fix? I would really like for the captcha to work.

    Thanks

I’m sorry but for security reasons I cannon do that. I am happy to help any other way. I believe that I have provided you enough information to start with.

    Hello,

Try to change permissions for the folder “inc” to 777 recursively in wp-content/themes/royal/framework/ directory.
Sorry, but it’s difficult to investigate the issue without seeing site and access to FTP.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

chmod 777 is not a good idea and is a major security risk, however it got me thinking to check permissions. I had forgot to chown -R www-data:www-data to my webserver folder. After I did that, its working as expected. Please close this ticket.

    Proper Permissions:

    drwxr-xr-x 10 www-data www-data 4.0K Nov 8 17:08 plugins
    -rw-r--r-- 1 www-data www-data 12K Nov 8 16:46 plugins.php
