Cart/Checkout is not visible when navigating from side drawer.

    We have an issue with the theme. When we add an item to the cart everything is fine and the item is visible in the side drawer:
    Side drawer cart.

    However, when we press on the “View basket” or “Checkout” button in that drawer, it opens the same page that says the cart is empty:

    Empty cart.

    What could be the issue and how to solve it?

    Kindly navigate to XStore > Theme Options > Speed Optimization > Always load “wc-cart-fragments” > Off. Clear cache and check the result.

    Thank you! It has fixed the problem.
    However, another issue with the cart and checkout exists after those changes:

    1. I add item A into the basket and press the “View basket” button on the side drawer.
    2. I go back to the shop, remove item A from the basket via the side drawer and add item B to the cart. I press the “View basket” button again and I see item A instead of item B.
    3. If I go forward to checkout or back to the shop, then I see item B in the cart as it should be.

    To sum up, the side drawer cart and checkout always show the correct cart. However, the cart page shows the previous cart if it was modified at any point.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello,

    Yes, it works as expected for some reason while you are logged in to WP and that WP bar is visible on top of the website.
    However, try opening it via the incognito window and you should see the issue. We are receiving a lot of complaints from our buyers and there have been no orders since we started using your theme.

    Dear @Rokas,

    We kindly recommend disabling all third-party plugins that are not included with XStore. You can find the list of included plugins here: (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/). Once you have done this, please clear your browser’s cache and check if the issue persists. It is possible that one of the additional plugins may be causing the problem.

    If the issue continues, we suggest switching to the Parent Theme if you are currently using the Child Theme on your site. After clearing the cache, please test again. Additionally, we recommend performing the same test using the default WooCommerce theme, Storefront, as the issue might be related to custom code in your Child Theme.

    Please let us know the results of these tests so we can assist you further.
