Cart doesn’t pop up/appear on desktop but does on mobile

    Hi,

    I tried purchasing a product on my website (we’er still in test mode), but when I click the Add To Cart button on a desktop browser (using Firefox on Mac) nothing happens. I also tried a purchase on my iphone and the Cart DID appear, allowing me to complete my transaction. What can I do to get the cart to appear when I click Add To Cart on a desktop browser?

    Also, I don’t see a cart icon in the navigation. How can I add one so that it’s visible to the user all the time? Thanks!

    1. If you wish to enable the ‘Product Added Notification’ feature on the desktop version of the site, kindly follow these steps:

    1. Go to XStore.
    2. Select ‘Theme Options’.
    3. Proceed to ‘woocommerce’.
    4. Choose ‘Shop’.
    5. Click on ‘Shop page layout’.
    6. Scroll down to find ‘Product Added Notification’.
    7. Select options according to your preference.
    8. Click ‘Publish’ to save changes.

    2. If you wish to incorporate a Cart in the header for desktop view, kindly follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to XStore.
    2. Select Theme Options.
    3. Proceed to Header Builder.
    4. Add the Cart widget in the desktop header.
    5. Configure the cart widget settings according to your requirements and publish it.

    Thanks for your help on this. I got the added to cart popup to work but on the cart icon in the header I am stuck. I don’t see how to add the cart icon to the connection block.

    In addition, I see that I have a duplicate connection block in the middle header, but I cannot delete it. I keep clicking its trash can icon, but it doesn’t disappear.     I don’t see how to add the cart icon to the connection block.

    2. To fix the problem, you need to reset the header content (via Theme Options > Header builder > Reset header builder) and then add elements again. You will not lost settings of elements, just need to set elements to the desired positions after the reset.
