Cart Widget Display Incorrect Variable Product Thumbnail

I have variable products with different image for each of color.

But the cart widget at header only able to displayed the default thumbnail/image which chosen from the featured image. Can the cart widget display the thumbnail photo accordingly to the variable products photo?
