Hi,
We would like to have the category accordion only visible on the product selection page and not on a category selection page.
Hope you can help us out,
Thanks,
Marciano

Hi,
We looked at the option, but we are talking about the filter menu on the left side. There is an option to switch of the category acordion, That is what we want, as you can see on in the screenshots we already switched it off. But we want this menu back on the Product page (when you are in a subcategory) so off/away when the subcategory’s are displayed in the field and on/visible when you are product deep in the menu. (after clicking a subccategory)
Hello, Marciano,
1/ We do not see Categories in your Shop sidebar – https://prnt.sc/ruoBgfqm9DPx Please add them and let us know.
2/ ” There is an option to switch of the category acordion” – what exactly option do you mean by this? Please provide a screenshot.
3/ “But we want this menu back on the Product page (when you are in a subcategory) so off/away when the subcategory’s are displayed in the field and on/visible when you are product deep in the menu. (after clicking a subccategory)” – sorry, but it is not clear, please provide URLs of pages where you want to see the widget and where you want to disable the widget.

The problem is that we do want the shop sidebar, but we do not want it on category selection, for example
Our categories are nested like these:
– Shop -> Shoes -> Women
If you have the shop sidebar on you have it also on the category “Shoes” But there are no products in Shoes because there is another category nested in there.
So in short we only want to show the sidebar when you are in the deepest category or in our case when there are products available.
For example on these links is the sidebar shown, but there are no products. So the sidebar shouldn’t be there.

Here is the sidebar shown, such as the price filter as it should be because there are products in this specific category.

Is there any way to have this done with settings?
Hello, Marciano,
Thank you for your response.
We regret to inform you that currently, there is no feature available to display the sidebar on the category page based on the number of products present.
You may contact the support of WooCommerce plugin also – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/
