    Hi,

When I add new text elements to my site they use Roboto font although in typography settings I have Jost – example – product category description.

Another question – when I use “Read more” in the product category description nothing happens. Can you explain how it works?

How to change it? I am getting lost in a variety of settings, I want simply to use the default theme set up but it seems an impossible task.

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello, Namaste,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

Please provide temporary wp-admin access, so we can take a closer look.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello, Namaste,

1/ About font, as we can see, it is Jost https://prnt.sc/00ckGMnms2fm
Please provide an example where it is Roboto.

2/ The <!--more--> can’t work as you expected, and it is independent of our theme.
You can create a static block with the desired content and Elementor elements, and after that add that block into the Category description area (Text tab) using shortcode https://prnt.sc/B3Mk2Rre0hxo

    Kind Regards,

    Hi,

    @1
    – seems to be solved. It happened when copied from other source (seems like it)

@2 – We use category description mostly for SEO purposes – that is why we prefer not to use a static block (end with multiple categories it is also very time-consuming). Thank you for suggestion though

    Hello, Namaste,

    You’re welcome!

You can try to use the Yoast SEO plugin, for example – https://prnt.sc/VORIJEARymHf Read more in the docs of the plugin.

We are using Yoast. We just want to keep the content the category page not move it to a static block. It is not clear what is being positioned when you use a static block – the page or static block itself.

If you have any resources on this topic I will gladly read it.

    Hello, Namaste,

It is not obligatory to use a static block in the category description area.

    The
<!--more--> in the category description area can’t work as you expected, and it is independent of our theme.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team
