We are using legenda theme for our wordpress eCommerce store. Category filter is not working on wordpress admin dashboard. When we are trying to filter categories it is not giving accurate results.
When I remove \’s&\’ in URL we are getting accurate results.
And category filter is working with default theme. It is just Legenda theme.
Can you please help.

Hello there,
Can please anyone help me with it.
Thank you.
Hello,
Sorry for a delay.
Please update the theme to the latest version and Woocommerce too as were said in the previous topic.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/legenda/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!
This problem doesn’t persist in Legenda 2.9 version.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
I have updated lagenda theme to latest version, but problem still exists. Can anyone please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
You haven’t updated the required plugins. You can download the latest version here: https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
Please update them.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
How do I update those plugins? I don’t any update button in plugins. When I did bulk actions, it didn’t do any thing. Do I have to delete that plugin from FTP and upload latest one? If I do that I am afraid, Does it delete all slider images and settings of each plugin I have?
Thank you.
Hello,
You don’t need to delete them. You just need to overwrite the existing folders via FTP in wp-content/plugins directory. Extract plugin archive that you downloaded and overwrite plugin folder, for example “revslider”. Your settings won’t be removed.

Eva Kemp.
I have updated all required plugins but problem still exists. Can anyone please help.

Can anyone please help.
Hello,
We’ve forwarded this issue to second level support and it’ll be fixed in the next theme update.
Please take our apologies for inconveniences.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
I have the exact same problem. In the backend when I try to filter by category either on the posts page or the products page the filtering returns wrong results. I confirm that it’s a theme specific issue because I switched to the default theme and the problem was gone. The category filter on the product backend is essential for eshops with hundreds of products. I have update Legenda and the plugins to latest versions, re-uploaded wp-includes and wp-admin folders of wordpress (which by the way is the latest version), de-activated all plugins etc but problem is not fixed. Please can you point us to a solution until you fix it? Today I updated Legenda to version 2.9.2 and the problem is still not fixed.

Please provide us with these credentials too.

So sorry I forgot about the folder lock. You can find the access details in the private content.
Hello @iakovoso,
Please contact your hosting provider and ask them to change PHP Max Input Vars value from 1000 to 5000. After that check the filter.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Hallo, I asked my provider to change the php max input vars to 5000 and they made the change today. I checked with a php info file and the change is indeed made but I’m trying the filter and it still doesn’t work.
Hello @iakovoso,
We’ll fix this bug in the next theme update.
We’re very sorry for such inconveniences.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Do you know when the next update will be? Until then is there something I can do to fix the bug temporarily? Because we have a lot of products and using the filter is essential.
Hello,
The update will be released in 2 weeks. Unfortunately meanwhile there is no solution.
Please take our apologies.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
