Is there some way of changing the product category menu order? I’d like to know if there’s some kind of filter that could be included in functions.php in a similar way to woocommerce_product_subcategories_args
?
Hello,
To reorder categories in product page sidebar?
In this case change order in Products > Categories, drag them as you wish.
Then use Woocommerce Product Categories widget in Appearance > Widgets > Shop Sidebar and select “Category Order” in “Order by” field.

OK, I was looking for a way of doing this programmatically and using if/then statements to alter the order depending on the page. I guess not though…
Hello,
So, is your problem resolved?
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Not really. I was hoping that there was a way of coding something to do this through a hook or filter, but I’ve done it another way (more long-winded and clumsy, but it works). If you guys could consider adding a hook or filter into a future release that would be very cool! 🙂

Hello @JorgeBorda,
1. You need use Woocommerce Product Categories widget in Appearance > Widgets.
2. You can drag your categories to any order in Products > Categories, then edit settings of Woocommerce Product Categories widget and choose “Category Order” in “Order by” field.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
