Change Category Banners on my website pages

Hello,

Pls i want each of my category page to carry a unique banner.
Like Women Category should have a banner of women

While Men Category Should have a Banner of Men

I see all of the inherit the banner from the Shop Static Blocks

Pls help me out

Hello,

Add a shortcode of static blocks into the Description area of category.
Here is an example with shortcode of slider https://www.8theme.com/documentation/documentation/troubleshooting/how-to-add-slider-banner-in-product-category-page/

i dont want a slider just a normal image banner. are u saying i cant have just an image displaying there and must i use the static block for it to show?

I have tried putting content on that space it’s not showing on the front end.
