    Hi team,

    I really tried to figure this out on my own, but… I give up.

    MAIL FORM:
    I’m not receiving emails sent through the built-in form. I’m using a Gmail address but also tried with my own dotcom email. It didn’t work. It’s sending, but not receiving. Checked spam too.
    I also installed Contact Form 7 to see if that would make a difference, but I didn’t.

    Also, I really like your default mail form, but I need to change the wording above the fields + change the website-field to phone-field.

    FOOTER:
    I really like the footer that you guys built-in, but I can’t figure out where to edit that one. If you look at this page (your default footer is at the very bottom above my lame attempt): http://paperdepot.biz/my-account/ (you have to login to view – see private message box).

    Help??

    Best,
    Soren

    Update:
    I figured out the footer problem (above), but it does not show in the /shop page… I did choose the correct footer that I finally created, but it’s not showing in the frontend.

    Mailform: still not functioning – question still open.

    See my login credentials in my last post.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    1. If the issue persists with Contact form 7 too, then you need contact your host and ask them to check if emails were sent from your site.
    To edit the text of contact form you need edit the file wp-content/themes/royal/framework/shortcodes.php, find the following block

    // **********************************************************************//
    // ! Contact form
    // **********************************************************************//

    and edit the needed fields.

    2. You can recreate the footer as described in our documentation to be able to edit it:
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/8_footer

    Also please update the theme to 1.4 version as some bugs have been fixed there.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Thank you Eva.

    What about the issue on my http://paperdepot.biz/shop/ page (login to view, credentials sent in prior post)? This is the only page where my own custom footer doesn’t show. It insists on using the theme default.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    Please update the theme to 1.4 version. Some bugs are fixed there:
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/installation_upgrade (1.5 paragraph)

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
